Welcome to My Studio Journal
This space will be used to share moments from my practice, recent work, studio experiments, exhibitions and thoughts around the ideas that shape my paintings.
My work is led by intuition, material process and a close observation of nature. Through spilling, pouring, marbling and layering, I try to create forms that feel both natural and unfamiliar. These marks often echo landscapes, coral, caves, canyons and unseen currents that move around us.
I am interested in the relationship between control and chance. Each surface becomes a record of movement, gesture and time. The work holds traces of decisions, accidents and quiet observations.
As a Fine Art student at Edinburgh College of Art, I am continuing to develop my visual language and explore how painting can hold memory, movement and atmosphere.
